Frequently Asked Questions
General Information
-
Each class is paid for just prior to the start of class by either cash, check, or Venmo. The Studio does not accept credit cards to keep overhead minimal and class costs low. We do not offer memberships to avoid waitlists and last-minute cancellations, maintaining a simple and straightforward system where you pay at each class.
-
Nope! While age may bring certain restrictions, we’ve had clients in their late 70s who could keep up with the strongest of classes. Pilates is for everyone, and private sessions are also a great option if needed.
-
We don’t offer beginner-specific classes, but if you’re already active, you’ll likely do well in a regular class. If you’re nervous about stepping into a group class or have an injury, private sessions might be the best option to start with. You can also book private group sessions if you'd like to learn Pilates with your friends.
-
The Studio cancellation policy is 24 hours prior to the start of your class. Late cancellations or no-shows will be charged, and you won’t be able to rebook until the class charge is paid. Emergencies such as sickness or car troubles are exceptions—just let us know as soon as possible.

Experience &

Consistency is key for optimal results. Attending 2-3 times per week is ideal. Incorporating Pilates with other activities like cardio, weights, and yoga will elevate your overall physical fitness and progress.

Joseph Pilates said, "In 10 sessions you’ll feel the difference, in 20 you’ll see the difference, and in 30, you’ll have a whole new body." Results vary depending on frequency, lifestyle, and consistency, but the benefits of Pilates are life-changing.

Yes, you will likely experience soreness after class, especially if it’s your first time or you’re trying new movements. This soreness is part of building strength and flexibility in muscles you may not use regularly.
